Brief Profile
Mr. Valientes teaches general anthropology, introduction to archaeology, and field methods in anthropology. He earned his BA in Anthropology from UP Diliman and his MA in Archaeology from the UP Archaeological Studies Program (now the UP School of Archaeology). His current research focuses on the early inhabitants of Batanes and their initial response to Spanish colonialism in the 18th century.
