As part of the activities of the Department of Anthropology at UP commemorating the centennial of anthropology education in the Philippines (1914-2014) and the establishment of the first academic institution of anthropology in the Philippines (1917-2017), we open this space to the anthropological community and encourage them to submit feature articles or essays highlighting the various contributions to Philippine Anthropology by Filipino and non-Filipino scholars, researchers, academics and cultural workers.
Topics include but are not limited to the following:
- Institutions (museums, agencies, academic departments/schools)
- Publications
- Theories
- Advocacies
- Events
- Artifacts
Articles must be around 1,500 words (or 5 pages long) and accompanied with pictures. You may submit your contributions to carl_tatel@yahoo.com
