The BA Anthropology program provides basic training in the four subdisciplines. The program has a total of 144 units. This includes a semester long fieldwork training program under the guidance of a faculty member serving as field school director. This will enable the students to apply the theories and field techniques learned in the classroom to the field setting. All requirements for the degree should be completed in four (4) years, with a maximum residency of six (6) years.
Career opportunities with undergraduate degrees include research, community work, and teaching. The training in this course may also serve as a foundation for other related fields such as law, public administration, medicine, management, community development and the arts.
